Absolutely, Roseann, as soon as I figure out how to add friends. I'm a bit confused at the moment. Is "Search" not hipster enough for the site? LOL!

All I see is Discover, Invite, and Settings. Discover just takes me to a list of other people, but I don't see any way to search for one in particular. Do you? If so, I'm @aprilmoen.

Right now the so-called tech press is full of opinion pieces, all ridiculing Ello and pontificating about why it won't work. Bunch of hot air. What I see is a huge amount of interest in Ello and a pent-up hatred of Facebook.

Facebook is becoming a garbage barge and the time for an alternative has arrived. If it isn't Ello, it will be something else, but it's coming.

I agree, Jim. Ello appears to be filled with creatives mostly. It's like a sea of hipsters and tech geeks. But that's how Facebook was in the beginning, too - computer savvy college kids. So, whether this site takes off or not, I figure it's a good idea to get in on the ground floor either way.

If anyone else is interested, it looks like I can send 5 invites, so same deal as Matthias - private message me your e-mail address and I will send the first 5 people invites. Let's spread the love around FAA!

On your home page click on the "say ello" black rectangle, a text box should open up, enter your text, underneath the large text box there are 2 small interlinked squares, click on these to upload images

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, for invites click on the + sign in the top left of the page - mine is still there

I don't have that right now. Might have to make a dance between browsers to see if that is the problem. I must say I like TSU better.

Yes it is a browser issue. It works in firefox but not in my Safari version.
