Image Link Question

How do the new image links in our listings function? I'm referring to the new links that were instituted about a week ago. It sounds like some folks have learned to control which images display by changing from galleries to artwork on the default display and then rearranging their listings. According to what I read in this thread http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=2097178 , it causes the displayed images to change. I have not been able to control those images at all. The images just keep cycling through my sold paintings. Any advice?

I leave galleries as the default view. Then the image links are other images in the gallery , not recent sales. Sometimes it will show the first 6 so i made sure they are all good and from galleries I want to promote. It seems to work well for me.
Oh also if the image is in several galleries it seems to show random images. I deleted my favorites and others that duplicated the work in other galleries.

I have galleries as the default view also. It doesn't seem to matter which gallery I am in, I get recent sales as the images. I never get images from the gallery. I do have some work in several galleries, but according to what you have experienced, I should be getting random images, not just recent sales. I will try deleting galleries that have duplications.
