Please Say Thank You

I have seen a growing number of members (normally new) ask for help and then, when they get it, they do not thank anyone in the thread.

Nobody here is paid to help anyone. They all do it out of the goodness of their hearts. They want you to succeed and they take the time out to assist with whatever your issue was

I would like to thank everyone who DOES take the time out to help. Even if you are ignored or not thanked by the person asking for it, we appreciate you!

When I first came here, I was so pleasantly surprised over the generous support and encouragement of seasoned FAA veterans.

On the days when there was so much to learn & too much to absorb - I continued on because of each contributing person's efforts - & their successes.

We are not competitors here - we are each individually strengthened - as fineArt America is thriving.

I will continue to help, when I can - because I'd love to see a prettier world. : )

You're the best my dear - thank you - for all your efforts & making this a great place to hang out.

I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone who contributes on these forums. I have learned a lot from both the positive, and even some of the negative threads. There are a lot of artists who never contribute on these forums, like myself, but who gain a lot of knowledge from reading them. So this time I decided to speak up and say "Thanks".

Geez, I hope I've always said 'thank you'! There have been oodles of members who offer help and of course the moderators. Manners are a good thing, sorry you've had to point this out to us! Big Thanks to Everyone :o)

I am an obsessive thanker...to the point where I get mocked. So if I for some chance missed thanking someone on here....its not intentional that is for sure. many kind and caring people on here. I do realize offering whatever we can is not paid in the currency most of us would prefer. Please do not offer if its uncomfortable. Do not offer if you don't feel reciprocated. Thankyou

i agree, as a fellow photographer who is "new-ish" to fine art america, i find things a lithe complicated, so i ask for help, i am amazed at the kindness of all the other photographer so willing to help. I make it a point to say thank you, it is the LEAST i can do.

Thank you , Abbie, first/foremost..........when I arrived, I knew not a/what is a forum,b/accepted practice,c/how to post thanks, even,and so much more.......
Also, to those others who contribute helpfully.....thanks again

I may be kind of quiet on the forums but I have learnt so much and I appreciate all the input, help and general conversations that have helped and I do thank everyone that assists all of us in need sometimes without even knowing you did so!!! Thank you also to the moderators who sometimes have a tough job :)

I always say thank you to anyone who helps me. Credit goes to my mother who taught her children well. :)

I also wish to join in thanking Abbie, JC and Jeff for their hard work. It may seem like a thankless job at time but please know you are appreciated.

I've learned a lot in my four yearson FAA, thanks to those artists here before me. Your advice and support has been invaluable.

I have been here for a year and a half and I have really appreciated all the help from more experienced artists. I am sure I have always thanked those that replied to my questions but I would also like to thank everyone who answers other peoples questions. I have learnt a huge amount by reading the forum every day so THANK YOU to everyone who contributes to this great community.

On a related issue, has anyone ever noticed how nobody (especially the youthful) says "you're welcome" after being thanked for something, anymore? The current response is most often "No problem."

Thank you, Abby for being a moderator as this is critical, but not usually appreciated. Also, thank you, Janine Riley for being the kind and motivational person that you are. Blessings and thank you to everyone who contribute to the very interesting threads. I also don't respond always, but read or look at the art in them.

Thanks, Abbie! I've always been amazed at how generous many members are with their advice when asked. And they're very patient too, taking the time to give very detailed explanations about what-have-you. It's always very much appreciated.

You do a great job and should be thanked as well, Abbie.

Awwwwwwwwwww that was so sweet Abbie. Always thinking of someone else. You're a very kind helpful and appreciative person as well as all these artists I have met along the way. So many have been helpful and I have tried to give back all I can. I always say thank you, but not because I should, because someone showed me kindness whether I learned something or not. I don't look for a return, thank you or you're welcome. I didn't help because I expected it back. Always nice but doesn't bother me if I don't hear it. I haven't come across a lot of people that are snotty, or I laughed at... well ok laughed a little. :-)
I thank all that have made this site what it is today. The forums are great. So thank all that have participated.

Why do I feel I'm at a roast? When do we eat? :-)

Thank you Abbie and Thank you to all the members who have supported and helped me along the way.

We shouldn't have to be reminded of course but if I've lapsed at any time, I apologise for my lack of Gratitude.
