A Place For Passion..new Group

Meant to say... The usual rules have been relaxed a bit to allow us to have TRULY open debates.. However.. No racism, No pornography, and No..something else I forget...

oh yeah..No Illegal software....

Also..the main point of the group is to provide a service for us passionate artists who like to discuss the issues that matter most. It's not really an Image group..but I have started to feature 1 image from each member..

I'm allowed to bump this now...

Some testimonials from existing members telling folks just how refreshing and fun it is to argue about the same old same old over and over again would be nice!!! :o)

I think I did the group a bit of a dis-service there when describing the discussions as the "same old same old".. It's not really like that .. there are some very lively discussions including green issues, politics, conspiracies, religion, literature, guns....etc.... so yeah.. maybe the same old same old to some..but its good to get a new perspective on these old chestnuts!

testimonial: a very good time is had by all in Barry's group, Everything in Moderation, etc. and so far no one has been hurt even when the fur starts flying.

Which proves with a little respect and tolerance for our difference diversity can thrive and awareness expand.

It absolutely IS the same old same old.

But so are the topics here on the general discussion boards. At least there you can have an opinion and not worry about a possible ban in your future for breaking an arbitrary rule.

Here's were the diversity in thought comes in, I don't see it as the same old same old. Come see for yourself.

Barry does well as a group leader.

I would have a very difficult time between Abbie (who comes first) and Barry.

I am a reluctant "leader"... Someone had to do it! I'm not keen on the responsibilities that come with the title, which is why I included the disclaimer on the group page (and anyway..power corrupts:-)..So the group basically runs itself. There is lots of respect among members and i've only had to remind people to play nice(ish) twice in total.. that is amazing!

LOL..Nice one Donna and Mario. Yes it's going very well. Of course it was never my intention to capture any one else's audience so to speak..but hey..it is great to speak freely.. Certainly one of the most active groups on the site and lots and lots of laughs.. plenty room for more!

I cant speak for Stan but I did agree with the basic sentiments of the lyrics posted which was basically a testimonial to how addictive a good, open discussion with many opposing viewpoints can be... It is very more-ish :0)
