Looking For Feedback

Hey guys, I'm looking for some feedback on the few pictures that I have uploaded on my profile. Anything to help better my photography would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sammuel.
I see that in some of your images there are focus and noise problems.Check your images at 100% before you upload.
You need to put in a discription to help with the searches.
Also think about putting your images in Galleries so as your collection grows anyone looking will not have to search through all your images to find the subjects they want.
With macro shots depth of fielfd is limited and it is usually the eye that is in focus

Hi... Arachnid would be one of many more keywords worth adding. I like your subjects.. some of the macro spider shots may work better with a much closer crop.. The extremely shallow depth of field wouldn't be so noticeable if you did this.. maybe :-) Good luck on faa!

Hey guys thank you for the tip!
I'm fairly new to the whole Fine art america family so I am learning along the way, I though I had set up galleries on my page, I have three, could you let me know where to go if they are not showing up? Also, do the words in the description count as keywords as well? I saw you mention to write one to aid in that I just wanted to double check
thanks!

Lastly finding keywords can be a bit hard because i run out of things to type. However, i will be adding Arachnid Thanks!

creepy crawly is a good keyword. yes, your galleries are there and you can point to the galleries to popping up first rather than the images. i just can't remember how. anyone?

good luck, Sammuel

Sammuel,
Go to Behind The Scenes, then Default Settings (under General) and it will be the first drop down window to choose Images or Galleries to show up on your Profile page.
Snoop around the site. There's a wealth of information here and great folks. Welcome and good luck!

what are the settings of your firework shot . hard to do

Hey Kathy thanks i got it switched over!
and puzzles it really depends on how far away and how bright they are. My F-stop was 8 and 100iso with a variety of shutter speeds on a tripod of course. As for that particular picture i took all of the best fireworks shots and created a collage with them.

This one is leaning rather noticeably about 1% CCW. It's not exactly tack sharp and appears to have sensor spots on it..

Counter Clock Wise.

Your Richmond shot is leaning to the left.

love the pics but they are noisy

Fine-tune the pics a little and youre golden ;). I especially love your shots of the Spider! If I may suggest (as with jumping spiders this is so easy to do with their almost comical stance) name the title of your art according to what the subject appears to be thinking or doing in order to make the casual onlooker stop and do a double-take ;)

You love the critters, so do I. I've jumped out of the way to save a spider, or ant. I catch things and set them free, because I see them and I don't know that they see me. Keep working hard...I want to see more from you!

Most of the time I have found them on my car, all three of those spiders were actually on my car when I got home. I ran out grab my camera and snapped away!
