Fabulous machine! I don't know how often you shoot cars, but I've found it handy to do one or all of these things when I'm at a car show -- big or small. If the owner is around, ask him or her about the car and jot down a note or two in reference to your shot # in the camera. If the owner isn't around and you want to do the car justice in your captions and descriptions, make it a point to get a shot that has the model name (I don't mean Ford; I mean like Fairlane or other specific nomenclature). Many models only slightly changed over the years, so grilles, head- and tail-light shots, etc. can also help experts identify the cars for you. I also peruse Google images and try to find the cars that most exactly match my shots. Don't use any one method exclusively, if you can avoid it. Of course, big car shows and juried Concours d'Elegance gatherings usually have event programs for sale that list the cars and their owners.
Good luck!
