Shopping Cart Widget Workaround Needed

Issue #1: The "View All Images" and "Continue Shopping" links occasionally redirect to all of the images on FAA instead of just my images.
Issue #2: After using the "Continue Shopping" link then trying to check out sometimes the purchaser is shown a black screen with an error message telling the viewer that they need to have a premium account. I assume they mean that I need a premium account (which I have and it is in good standing).

These are glitches on FAA's server side code so I can't fix them, BUT there must be some work around. Someone mentioned using their CSS to cover/hide that top black bar with all of those links and the "Continue Shopping" link. Has anyone done this successfully? Any other ideas as to how to work around these glitches?

I, personally, do not use the cart widget, sorry. I've simply started implementing my products individually onto my website.

Grandkin Studios

Good luck, though.

So you are typing in each variable and price? I notice you aren't offering framing and matting, which makes it reasonable to try this, but how do you process orders and communicate them to FAA?

Jennifer,

Yes, I have already created the variables, now it's a matter of implementing prices for each uploaded product. Because I can only run a certain amount of variables through WooCommerce, framing options are off the table as there are too many combinations.

I'm simply using FAA as a drop shipper. I order the purchased product and ship to the billing/shipping address, with a polite follow up email providing the tracking number and product return information.

So you are having to manually process each order? Sounds like a pain, but it avoids the widget problems, looks great and it's easy for the purchaser.

Thanks so much for sharing your approach! I might have to do something like that.

Yes, I'm processing each order. I use Wordpress, so I'm not sure the widget is even compatible, -- I seem to recall a thread or two here saying it was not.

No worries, good luck with everything.

I don't use the widget, either; I found it to be buggy. . . but, I don't want to process orders. I simply link each image on my site straight through to my AW.

Easy peasy!
