Quick Question - Faa Watermarks

In reading an earlier Post today, I came across watermarks and the benefits or non-benefits of same.MMMMM - I got cold feet and figured I might as well turn off all FAA watermarks from all of my photos. Nothing gained - nothing lost.

I figured I would just UN-check the Watermark box while editing the individual photos. This is the same way I added the FAA Watermark before. Now I just want them OFF.

The problem is that - regardless of what I do, the photos still show up with the watermarks on them. I have turned off my browser and computer to no avail.

I wonder it the database has to be refreshed at FAA at the end of the day or whatever...

Please let me know if you have an idea when the watermark will come off the photos. Apparently it's not an instant thing !

I am just wondering how long this may take for the watermarks to disappear from FAA - I have close to 900 photos posted, so I have a long road ahead of me !

Thanks !

Carlos, when they were first on the faa scene, I recall the administration telling us that once the marks were chosen, it is permanent. I'd suggest you write to tech help and see if the problem can be resolved for you.
That said, rules change....either way, it's time for tech intervention.

Jeffrey;

I believe the watermarks are gone.

I was going to apply 25% of all my last 30 day sales and decided to apply it as your commission. Sadly, I have had no recent sales, but you must admit that 25% - in principle - is a very noble offer.

Had I sold $20,000 dollars, your commission would have been $5,000 dollars. Granted, you would have been liable for taxes. By me not having any sales, I have just saved you $1,000 in income taxes, which you must admit is a considerable chunk of change - not to mention all the IRS and bookkeeping hassles and forestalling family members for asking you for a small loan. This week, your local church would also be interested in seeing some extra donations. There is nothing wrong with 7% of that, since this was passive income.

So technically speaking, you should send me - Via my PayPal address - a token of gratitude of let's say 10% (or $100.00) which I would consider your token of your gratitude for saving you all the aforementioned and setting you right with the family and church.

mmmmmm. Oh yes, I forgot: THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!

:)
