Gratitude

Another user referred one of the newer users to me with regard to some travel photography questions. I'd been out of the country in Mexico, but as soon as I got the message I took the time to answer this person's questions because I was grateful to the people who took the time to give me advice along the way. Still am.

Well, after taking the time... never got a reply. Nothing. Was wondering if they even got the reply. So, I asked them earlier today if they'd got my message... mostly to make sure there weren't any glitches in the messaging system.

The person replied and said they did get my message, but that they'd been too busy to reply to it. However, I see they're not too busy for non-stop theme photo thread promo posting in the forum. Really? Too busy for a simple "thank you for taking the time to answer my questions..."

I really don't get how some folks don't get that other people have their own lives to live, and when they take time out to help you... it's a good idea to at least make time to say "thank you."
