Hi Brenda, The first thing that strikes me is you need to upload your work without boarders...you really don't want the frame , mat, etc. in the uploaded image.

Forgot to say welcome :) I really like the first image

Hi Brenda,

I'm fairly new here, too. Your second image (chocolate card) is a bit blurry. I'm sure other artists here will have great advice on the best way to capture and present your work.
Welcome. I like your art.

Welcome, Brenda!
I agree, you must crop your images..once you do, you can just edit the image without having to do a complete new upload.

first - the avatar, its like your looking at someone as if they are going to steal something. it bugs me is all.

Sell Art Online
this isn't printable, and if your selling the card, no one will want it as a stand alone, you have to scan it as it is, and make that the print. not everyone will want this as a card, if you scan it in at a high dpi, you can sell it as posters. and because its a card your limited to a certain amount of keywords -- you should have more than 3 though.

Sell Art Online
you can't have the background. it has to be cropped clean. and the image should be larger. its sharp enough to print, but because of the crop - it won't. you need more keywords, you don't even mention girl in it. the description should be about the piece, not how you made it.

Photography Prints
again you can't have background, you can't have your own frame. it can't be at an angle. even if you were selling just the original, it can't be shown like this because it doesn't look professional.

for some reason you have a gallery but only 3 images. and only 2 of them are in a gallery. you need a bio as well.

could you crop the current avatar so there is less door? the dog can stay. mostly your lost in that little graphic of yourself, but i think that one is better overall.

The avatar is often the first chance you have to sell your product to a prospective buyer. If you look at the folks who have commented on this thread, we all have avatars that showcase us almost full frame. No one has a pet in it or a significant other. What I see when I look at your current avatar is a really big door.

its best not to have the dog, but compared to the other one, where it looked like she was looking through a peep hole, almost anything is better. if she cuts off the dog, there will only be half a dog. its probably best to get a new photo on a basic background. i dress my avatar for the month.
