No Sales But Still Impressed

I have only been here about a month, no sales but I am really impressed with visitors. I have over 1000 views in a short while. I had another web site and I didn't get this many in a year. No sales as yet but I am not disappointed as I view great artists that inspire me to be better. So I thank all of the great artists who display such great work!

don't forget to advertise, it's very important. you have very few keywords, add more. and they could all use a good description - it helps the viewer and google. you also may want to scan them in, partly so they are sharper (i would say they are on the line of whether they would print or not), and you can sell them in larger sizes if you scan it at a high dpi.

on average it will take me 3 months or more to sell something new.

SEO is a hallmark around here although not all sites might track bot hits as "visitors".

A month is a blink of the eye in the sales time line. Well, maybe that is exaggerating. But even among steady sellers it can take three months for a piece to even get in all the search engines.

The first step towards sales is getting noticed in the sea of art for sale which requires a lot of outside promotion. Make yourself some goals 1 year, 3 years and 5 years out and constantly reevaluate your marketing plans. Most will toss in the towel in the first few months.

You have good, quality work. I feel like it can and does appeal to a certain demographic. I haven't sold any pieces yet but, I can definitely see you selling on FAA in no time; hang in there!
