Since no one is talking here I will relate another.
4 years ago when asked to do a painting in public I suggested we let the children in on the game. It was a day long entertainment called Whoop De Doo in Kansas City. I set up a nice sized canvas and drew some lines for an abstract, then added a little color to stimulate the kids. I set up with easel, paints, and brushes. Many kids came right up and added blocks of color or even slashes, others I had to cajoled to put color on the canvas. It was a fun day and a nice painting. Fast forward 3 years and I suggested to a mom in charge of fund raising at her school the same scenario, her talented daughter did a drawing, many kids worked on the painting, then they sent it to me to "clean it up a bit." It auctioned for over $300.
