will invoices be also given to customer by company even though it is a free package?

Jeffrey Kolker

Since you're here, you already have. You can upload and sell 25 pictures...with no fee.

Jeffrey Campbell

Good call, Jeff, thanks.

Jeffrey Kolker

Wait..the free package is you can upload 25 photos and sell them, without paying the $30 fee. It almost sounds like to me you think they will give 25 photos to you, for free. That isn't what the free package is....

Sybil D'Amico

I know they don't give the photos.I put them up for free right then they make a profit off the amount of what is being made off of sold items;is that correct?

Jeffrey Campbell

Yes, Sybil, that is correct.

Jeffrey Kolker

And you get your share as well. It's like the premium account, but you are limited to 25 items for sale.

Sybil D'Amico

But where is it on the website because I can not find it again

Jeffrey Campbell

Sybil

I have verified you have the free account and can begin uploading, adding keywords and prices to 25 images. The link to open free accounts is located here:

For the free package ,do I have to send out a PayPal invoice of what was bought?

Sybil D'Amico

And every 25 photographs can be uploaded is that corrected ? How will I know when I have to repost another 1-25 photographs; will a notice come in my email?

Mike Savad

you don't do anything but upload. invoices, shipping, customer care - the site does that for you. all you have to do is upload 25 things, and that's all you have to do. if you get a sale, you should get a note in your email,or you can check your accounting section, and it will tell you.

You upload another 25 when you get bored with the 25 you already have on FAA. You will have to delete those off and then upload new images.

All you do is upload, set your profit and FAA does all the rest.

If something sells they print it and mail it, collect the money and add in their profit. Then 30 days later (if there is not return) they send you the money via PayPal.

Sybil,

This is a print-on-demand website, your images will not be removed unless you choose so. You can keep selling the same images again and again.

Yes, the free accounts can upload, keyword, and sell 25 images.

Please take our tour http://fineartamerica.com/tourfineartamerica/introduction.html
The read our Terms of Use http://fineartamerica.com/termsofuse.html
If interested, read our membership plans page http://fineartamerica.com/membershipplans.html

You will need PayPal to receive payments and the images will need to be of printable quality before you upload

They need to be under 25mb and jpg or png. Adobe RGB or sRGB Images should be over 800 pixels but there is no maximum size. If the images are over 25mb then you can shrink the image down slightly or compress down to 10. Never upload enlarged images (that is making the pixels more than you have normally) as we will probably not pass it in QC if you sell.

Please note that we do not so ANY quality control unless you get an order, so you must make sure the images are top quality before uploading. You do this by 'VIEW'ing the work in your editor at 100% and going over it completely looking for blurriness or blockiness. Make sure your monitor is properly calibrated so your prints will be the colours you expect and true to your work.

If you wish to test the quality of the prints you may buy your own work at base cost

The prices you sell at are whatever you put in your markup area (that is what you will earn)
If your markup is $50 or under, we add $5
If your markup is over that, we add 10% or $5 whichever is larger

You can see a basic price list here (it is the only one we have) http://fineartamerica.com/printprices.html

When logged in you are seeing the prices you would pay if you wanted to buy your own work
You can see a breakdown on prices by going to your image, choose a print, under the price is a link, press that (see attachment)

Basically, all you really need to do is decide what YOU want to earn and then put that in the spaces provided

When registered and logged in, on the top right menu there is a drop down with everything you need for the site

BEHIND THE SCENES is for all the tools you need to set the site up and PROFILE is where your site is.

Hope this helps. If you read those and have any specific queries please let us know

Now can I sell my photographs on the website or do I need my own website to do this?

Mike Savad

not if you don't want one. just upload here, and direct people to your site and you'll be fine.

Jeffery Johnson

You can do both but mind you that you will then have to print your own images if it is a personal site unless you are using another service for printing and drop shipping to your customer.

Go to your profile.
Hit the images tab (hint: you probably start off in the images tab area when you get to your profile).
Hit Upload Image.
Upload Image.
Fill out all the info.
Hit submit.

Repeat for each image.
