Call To Artists: Post Art On My Artwork Sharing Community Forum For Extra Exposure

UPDATE: I closed this discussion. I had started the forum with good intentions but have received some negative comments from a few people. My goal was to spread goodness not distress.

Hi all,

I have been painting for over 20 years but recently decided to start a website, blog and sell my art.

Things have really started taking off and I am getting a lot of activity on my site. This is partly because of all the support and guidance I have gotten from others who have 'been there, done that'...other artists who shared words of wisdom and encouragement.

I now want to pay it forward.

So, a few days ago I started an Artwork Sharing Community forum on my website for artists to share their work and link back to their own site or FAA...for a little extra exposure. Just one more place to share your work:)

I hope you will join me! You will need to sign in with a facebook account or other one similar to post. I will not see any information other than what you actually post on the forum.

Here is the link: http://www.artbyalisonnewth.com/artist.html

Cheers, Alison

It appears there are strings attached after all! You have to allow Allison access to all your "Friends" amongst other things or allow Weebly access in order to sign in. Let's tell the truth Allison!

She may not have realised that. She would not get access

Suzanne, I did not realize that. I just started this a few days ago. I knew you could sign in with facebook but I didn't realize that meant sharing your information. Sorry about that. I will change my initial post to reflect this.

Cheers, Alison

Roy, I did write how-to post on the forum. Have another look and if you can't figure it out, let me know and I will see what the problem is:)

site is terribly slow and is not worth it, IMO. Gives weebly the rights to post to one's FB page as well as access to friends, addresses, groups, etc.
