Beautiful but very strong contrast for watercolor painting . you should add Digital on medium section :)

I like it because the style and technique fits the context of what the painting is about. It's a painting of Poppies which is used to make opiates and the painting feels and looks psychedelic. The look matches very well with the subject matter.

Over all, it looks pretty good, Chastity. I think if you were to bring out the red a bit more in a few of the poppies, and then make the blue in the very top center, more blue, and the purple in the upper right more true purple, that would help the piece look more finished. :-)

Thank you Saba, Roz, & Rebecca!!
I'll definitely take all of the advice.. I truly appreciate that.

I like the composition.

The background colors look like were a bit too blended at the top, particularly in the center...they went muddy. I would go over it lightly with a single color...to clean up the mud. Maybe carrying the blue up to the top?

Very well done, reminds me of Emile Nolde's flowers. Thats a very good thing FYI!

My only suggestion would be to change the opening sentences of each paragraph on your biography.

I - I - I - I've - I'm

Great artwork!

I love it!! Bold and beautiful and has an abstract look (maybe that's the wrong word -- I'm not a painter). Just the kind of art I'd put on my wall.

Is this an actual watercolor done on paper, or digital art? For medium, you have "Painting - Watercolor Painting." If it's not done on paper, then uncheck the "painting" category to avoid confusion and select "digital art."

i don't like the blue parts, they don't go with the rest. kind of like hidden peacocks. its too strong of a color to put there, i would make the background yellow like the rest.the purples are ok.

Phyllis, Angelina, & Ronald,
Thank you so much for that.. Jeffrey, I can't believe I had so many I's in the Bio, how embarrassing was that! =) I definitely fixed it right away.
& Patricia thank you as well, I used watercolor on paper, then brightened it up a bit before uploading.. thank you all for the kind words.. Keep it coming.. I love it!

I'm no painter but I have a few comments anyway. I love the overall feeling and flow of your painting and the composition is wonderful. I'd take down the vividness of the blue sections a few notches because my eye is drawn there but the blossoms in those sections are kind of small and not as interesting as the others. I'd also change the color of the upper right so that it repeats another color that you've already used such as the orangey-yellow. Great work!
