I'm fairly new to FAA. I just thought I would put some of my images online and see what happens. Today I did a search of my hometown to see what was selling. I highlighted the "Recently Sold" and "Photographs" and then did a search with the name of my hometown. Two of my images came up which was a surprise to me. I went to the images and there was no indication of a sale. I then went to the "Behind the Scenes" and checked the sales. Still no sale indicated. What's going on?
stuff sold as a search, will find something. but it doesn't mean it sold. unless its on the sold page, then it's sold. usually it's best sellers that confuses everyone. it lists things even if they weren't ever sold.
Nancy sounds like your search inquire confused the algorithms in place that FAA uses for their internal search engine. Appears as though it was also picking up on specific keywords you may have used.
The search never returns an empty field so long as there are matching keywords. If you sort by best sellers or recently sold it will sort by that criteria but then go to images that have not sd after the sellers. If there are no sold it goes to the non sold images at the top.
