New Member Questions...

Hi Artists. :) So I have a couple of technical questions about the site and also a request for some constructive critiquing. Technical - I have uploaded only 3 artworks and when I'm on my page I am able to see them at the bottom. However, when I click on the tabs on the top, (galleries & artwork) they both say that I have not uploaded any art. Can anyone tell me why that might be happening? I signed up for the free trial, so would that have anything to do with it??

And as far as my actual art...I've been painting at home for many years but opening myself up to the world is very new. I would love to know what you think and if you have any suggestions or critiques. Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to read this. xoxo

you have to make a gallery first. then when you upload or edit your work, you have to check off what groups you want those images to be in. i see 4 images. be sure to refresh your cache, it might be stuck on when it was empty.

the free trial is just a way to test the site.

i can only speak photographically - you have to fix the crop, it needs to come clean on the edges or it won't be printed. and there seems to be glare at the top.

mostly i'm seeing that and a lack of descriptions. so fix the crops and it should be fine. you have to do the advertising btw.

Emily - I like Whimsey. the Serenity (head of Buddha) - I don't know - the image is ok - but to me it looks like the head was lopped off and I don't understand the 'dribbles' that seem more like tears than serenity. That's just me and how I see it.

Remember - opening yourself - your insides - your ego - can be painful - as well as rewarding.

The artwork tab works like a search. It'll take 24 hours for the site to index your stuff and it'll show up.
I see 4 works up.
