I just glanced at your first page, and immediately noticed some tilted horizons on some of your photos. That was the first thing I was ever told to address years ago when I started becoming serious, and I've been OCD about it since. :)

Frankly, Eric, I'm not impressed. You've tended to disregard distracting backgrounds, the composition is off in many cases, and there are numerous tilted horizons. Those are all formal considerations, but my main observation is that your pictures don't have a sense of specialness about them. Many would call them snapshots, I'd imagine.

this looks silly without the numbers on the plate. add something even if it's your own name. or clone it out entirely. this image is so noisy it won't print. overall its not interesting because it's cluttered with other cars and a shed?

Photography Prints
you need keywords and descriptions, no one will find you. this image is ok, but kind of bland. no people, dull sky, dull light. would look better at night or sunset.

Photography Prints
description and keywords are switched. i don't get this shot at all. who will be interested in a chunk of brick? the idea is to make things that people may want to buy, i can't imagine too many that would go for it. and the horizon is crooked. the title doesn't fit. there is no beach, and that sure isn't a dream.

you have a series of these that all kind of look the same. the water has a swampy look to it. and again without keywords and such, no one will find you.

Art Prints
this would be good if you didn't have that pole in the end and the horizon was straight, and it was a black and white. also clone out the stuff in the water.

i like the sky, but that bush is rather boring. when people buy a sunset its usually a location, and often a place they've been to. calling it sunset 4. and without a description or keywords, i can't see where this would be placed selling wise.

this is probably one of the better ones, though i would rather have the focus from nose to eyes. calling this kitty? makes no sense at all.

if your going to shoot a light house - never have the gift shop or any sign in the way. try to remove any building that isn't the main subject. even the benches, people etc, all add clutter. if you could get higher up, so you get only that hill and the rest, then it would be a stronger image. though it's a bit dark and a bit too blue. and this level of lighting i'd like to see lights lit.

overall you have no descriptions, or keywords, and the titles are weak. without those things working for you, no one will find you.

How many of your images would you hang on your wall as art? after you've answered that question for yourself - then there are the 'brutal' comments of those below. (or above if you are looking at newest first).

Eric, I love the unique view and symmetry of this one. Well done! The birds need to be removed, though, because they look like specks. Best of luck to you!

how about putting in "ST8OMND" Corny? Maybe. But better than blank. Some photogs I know just fake the license plate altogether so it can't be traced back to the owner.

Patricia, Eric, I think those are specs on the sensor. You need to clean your sensor.

Thank you, Sebastian! Good to know. Lol, Joseph, all vanity license plates are corny! It does seem to need something, though. How about BLURETRO or GOTTABME... oh, I could go on. Sorry to sidetrack, Eric.

Eric, I can see what interested you in taking these pictures. The one thing you missed was to "be aware of your surroundings". What would make this shot pop or give it interest. How can I line things up in this picture to make it look more appealing and give it a better composition.
Those are things you will have to learn that will become habit after a while, with lots of practice.

Have you ever noticed the most beautiful sunset, and took a pic of it. Then after it was downloaded as an image, it looked boring. Once you learn how to take that beautiful sunset with a good perspective, and composition, you will be on your way.
Best of luck

My personal peeve has always been numbered series when there is little to no difference between the shots. From a buyers perspective it gets boring very fast.

Pick YOUR favorite and go with that.

Regarding plates, this is what I do.
