Large Size Printing.

I have just been commissioned to do a digital landscape print, a large one, depending on the sizes that Fine Art America can ptint. I usually work on 40" paintings. What is the largest size that FAA can print?

Dale,

Check Behind the Scenes > Default Settings. The largest size I see is 108" x XX.

108" only covers panorama's with a steep smaller side. you can make 72" prints x i think 48" due to paper limitations, though canvas is a little more flexible. you'll have to scan the image in large though, you can't increase the size any, or it will stretch and they won't print it. 84,96,108 - the last 3 sizes are the pano's, of different ratio's. you'll know if 108 will work when you see the 6" print - it will look like a comic strip.

i saw a 7200px image in there - that will make the largest size, it will be fine.

Thank you. I understand now. The wall area that my print will go on is 72". So, I think 60-70" landscape ratio would be best. It would be framed.

make sure you can get it through the door and that the final measurements with the frame isn't larger than the wall. cuz that would be so funny...

Right! Yeah thay wouldnt be good.

It all depends on the resolution of your image. Don't enlarge your file trying for a larger print size!

Best of luck with your commission, Dale!

EDIT -- Oops! Already mentioned by Mike!
