Standard And Extended License Pricing

Hello,

This site offers to put your photos up for sale for standard and extended licenses. My question is, how do you what to set your prices at? I can seem to find a definite answer. Can anyone help me?

First you need to decide whether to sell royalty free or rights managed licenses. It's generally not a good idea to offer both.

I've noticed most people selling licenses here use the preset "Getty" prices,, so that would be a good place to start.

There is no definite answer. You can use price calculators for various situations - just google photograph licensing calculator. That might give you a start. Basically it boils down to what you'd be fine with getting if someone were to use your photo for such and such situation. Beyond that, look around at other profiles and see what other people are asking on here.

Alternatively, you could visit one of the established stock sites and look at what they charge.
