Should You Tweet An Image That Is "x" Rated (maybe)

Should you tweet an image that is maybe X rated. I caught this pair of Cuban Anoles 'delighting' in my garden: Art Prints (warning - this is nature in progress)

I wonder if it will gain you more followers (being X-rated and all) or cost you a few... I just can't imagine who's going to want a picture of two lizards getting freaky in the garden, but I have seen more questionable things on the Recent Sales page, so I say go for it. It will be a good conversation starter if nothing else! And there's a buyer out there for just about everything.

You may want to place the "Not Safe For Work" filter on them. Someone might complain. :)

Jeffrey - I did - April - "I" am with you - but when I look at what does sell here - I just don't know - some folks will buy anything - and there are lot's of 'lizard' lovers out there (people) and (lizard's that don't hide their feelings).

Well - for about the first time ever - I have quite a few 'visitors' and the aren't NY or Beverly Hills - can hardly wait until China finds these two.

I think it's kinda cool.

LOL! Well it wouldn't have even occurred to me that it is x-rated (hey I'm from the mid-west where the farm animals do their thing in public - lol). But come on, not appropriate at work, or kids? Listen to the cartoons (even in my time) with all the 'over-their-head' comments it's amazingly unappropriated - but it's fine if it's never going to be understood.

So IMHO I wouldn't use a safe filter or caution comments unless someone actually complained. You don't want to offend anyone, but at the same time you want the work seen. You have logical reasons for assuming this wouldn't be offensive to people and not picked up on by kids, so I wouldn't do this till you actually have reason to think it's a problem (like a complaint).

I agree it's a cool image.

I get a lot of laughs from this triptych at art fairs (helps that the birds are from Australia)
