Uk Fulfillment Center

The day has finally arrived...

http://fineartamerica.com/newsletters/uk-fulfillment-center.html

We are very pleased to announce that we've begun producing and shipping orders from our new fulfillment center... in the United Kingdom!

Effective immediately, if a buyer purchases a canvas print and ships it to any address in the UK or Europe, the order will be fulfilled by our UK fulfillment center.

What does that mean?

It means that the order will ship to any address in the UK within one business day... and to any address in Europe within 2 - 5 business days.

It also means low shipping rates... no import taxes... and a whole new market of buyers for your artwork!

We're starting out with canvas prints, and we'll be expanding to include other products at the UK fulfillment center very, very quickly.

The UK center will be fulfilling orders for all of our websites, including Pixels.com, FineArtAmerica.com, FineArtEurope.com, Instaprints.com, ArtistWebsites.com, and all of the others. This includes your personal Artist Website and your shopping cart widgets, as well.

If the buyer is shipping the order to the UK or Europe, then the order will automatically be produced at the UK fulfillment center so that the buyer receives the order as quickly as possible with the lowest possible shipping charge. If the order is being shipped to the United States, Canada, or anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere, then the order will continue to be produced at one of our U.S. fulfillment centers.

If you've read this far... here comes the fun part. Starting now through August 31st, we're offering FREE SHIPPING on all canvas orders that get shipped to any country in the UK or Europe. You don't need a special code to receive the free shipping offer. Just add a canvas print to your shopping cart, select a shipping address in the UK or Europe, and you're all set. In less than a week, we'll deliver a museum-quality masterpiece to your doorstep with a 30-day money-back guarantee!

Tell your friends... tell your family... tell your followers on Facebook and Twitter... your online art business just went global!

This is just the beginning of our expansion all over the world... stay tuned...

I recently advertised this on my G+ account, including the free shipping until the end of August. Already had a sale to Denmark. Ironically, the image portrays a very large American Flag.

Excellent news, I think it will make a big difference for Uk and European buyers!.

Great news. Loxley Colour are an amazing print lab, I've used them for several years to manually fulfil European orders, as well as for exhibition work when I lived in the UK. I hope the other products can be rolled out soon!

Natalie Kinnear

Alexis are you saying that FAA's UK fulfullment centre is Loxley Colour? I must have missed where that is stated.

Alexis Birkill

Natalie: Oops, I hadn't realised this wasn't public knowledge. The page that I found that states it appears to be intended for internal use only, so I won't share it.

Made a tweet as soon as I got the email on that addition. Fixed my blog post I

made about the canvas one to add about metal prints and tweeted that again.

I hope folks see it and take advantage before the free shipping is gone.

When are normal prints going to be available in the UK?

Harry Torque

This is excellent news. I placed an order for a set of test prints in the summer from the US, and the shipping costs were exorbitant.

I would also like a much more prominent mention of a European fulfillment for certain products for European visitors.

i am SO pleased!!
my test order of one of my images, canvas size 50x50cm, arrived promptly yesterday and is of superb quality. perfect color match, perfect print, finishing and hanging, very careful packaging. i am very, very happy, indeed that i can now offer my european customers such a high quality product free of exorbitant customs taxes and at very good shipping rates.
HALLELUJA!

thank you, Sean.

Harry, that's a great idea. Make it prominent where it is seen when the site opens.

Gill Billington

Great news Menega, so glad the quality etc is excellent from the UK printer.

@Justin -- I'm waiting for paper prints, too, as I don't like having (most of) my work printed on canvas. Fingers crossed it will be very soon! :-)

I have a canvas print from the European printer and am VERY impressed. Fast turnaround also

just need to put my prices up to the levels i sell at in the UK now

Canvas, Metal, hopefully standard prints soon...

Will there be free postage for standard/normal prints for a small period of time?
I'm guessing not but it'd be a fabulous promotion to start with great way for people to publicise.

I think August was it :). I did not have the money this month to take advantage but am still grabbing a couple next month. Someone kept wanting me to frame a painting they have of mine that was not meant to be framed. I'm going to purchase a rolled canvas and get it framed. She is happy and I keep the original as it should be lol

Andee Design

Abbie if you are around...is the end of the free shipping USA EST time August 31 or the UK August 31st?

Abbie Shores

I would imagine your time, not ours

I hope more get the chance to take advantage before it expires. Thanks Abbie!

Here is something to consider.

Mounting and framing custom sized prints are more expensive than standard redi-made print sizes.

It is more profitable for both FAA, and the artists that provide the artwork, to offer only custom sizes.

I actually like this.

I recently ordered a bunch of standard prints from another POD site so as to provide me standard size prints. I did this so that I could buy mats in bulk for several flip boxes that I will be placing in different places.

I like having a place like this (FAA) that offers full sized custom size prints, and mats, frames, and other options. This is one area that FAA excels in and I am appreciative of the extra 5% mark up of the materials sold.... though I would love it if the markup was 10% or more.

At any rate, I am very happy that FAA provides me with this niche for my marketing plan.

And for some of my images it is appropriate that some of them not be cropped. Especially arbitrarily cropped.
