Now that is pretty funny. It's also a way to get quite a following.

That is very funny. I did some of this type of thing with family photos after family parties. Everyone got a kick out of it.
His Photoshop skills are very good.

I loved that he maintained his dorkiness in each of his additions!
Can't wait for the Kardashians to sue him for taking them out of the spotloght...he steals the show!

Awesome stuff!

Back in the days when I used to do laser typesetting for a living, one of my printer clients gifted me with this pic. It was before I ever ventured into Photoshop. A bit crude, but still humorous, I think.

Glad that you all enjoyed it and @Mike I have noticed that you often spell "your" when you mean "you're" as in the example from your excellent blog that I quoted below. I put the offending "your" in all caps for you.

"How to critique your own work Being able to critique your own work will allow you to see your own images from the viewpoint of the buyer. If YOUR not making sales"

Aside from that grammar thing, your stuff rocks. You're one of the best photographers here by my estimation but you really need to brush up on your contractions. ;-)

i have a saying - grammar scmammner. as long as you know what i'm talking about it doesn't matter which version i use. english has too many confusing rules. if i haven't learned it by now, i won't ever. as long as its spelled right, the your's are all interchangeable.

---Mike Savad

** your's** ??

@Mike, I hope I didn't ruffle your feathers with my attempt at humor, and that is all that it was, but if you look through your blog and posts you will see many examples of bad grammar and yes you are clearly understandable but some of your customers may be from England where they speak the "Queen's English". As you have said, they bring their friends in to look at the site to show them what they have ordered. There not going to want they're freinds to see them photos in their right next to examples of bad grammar.

i'll stop now ;-)

my feathers don't really ruffle unless i see a cat.

as long as my spelling is right, people can translate what i say the way they want. there are simply too many rules to follow, and i'm from this country. thus far it hasn't hurt me any.

@Bob......they're freinds is spelled their friends....lol! I'm assuming you knew that...

@Mike....no cats? http://fineartamerica.com/featured/krazy-kat-cat-food-sydne-archambault.html This might work for the rats....and a cat you don't know.
@Bob.....did you mean fiends?

Bob VonDrachek

I was so careful to get all my there's in they're correctly that I forgot to get my fiends and friends straightened out.

Poor grammar = poor impression = bad for business. Little mistakes once in awhile aren’t a big deal. A pattern of sloppiness, though, is a different story. If readers don’t get your writing, it’s not their fault. It’s yours.

If you want people to read what you write, it's best not to appear uneducated.

in today's world, only the seniors care about grammar and that skill. most use single letters to spell a word out. doesn't matter if the grammar is perfect, i haven't had a complaint pretty much ever. people complain about silly things like grammar, it's easy to slip up, and honestly, english makes little sense. i'm an artist first.

Seriously, and putting pedantry aside. It may be that today people are considerably more lax about it. However, this seems the opposite of what is really needed. First off, most language usage is already limited and easy to misunderstand in terms of both intent and specific meaning. Add to this the fact that many people work with each other day and never meet. Tone and body language, both important to communication up to this point are out. This leaves more depending on language skills not less.

we are typing in a forum not writing a dissertation.

As to the OP... yes some are funny... awesome photoshop skills... no, but I do not think what was his objective. ;O)

"in today's world, only the seniors care about grammar"

That might well be true, but there are a lot of us 'seniors' about!

Don't you know the Queen's English? Why, yes, I'd heard she was. ;)

Mike Savad

seniors die off, and are replaced with more relaxed individuals. people that in time will say - dude, you spelled your wrong it's spelled UR.

The irony of all of this is that almost everyone missed that my jab at Mike's grammar was just a joke relating to his jab at minor PS flaws in what is obviously intended to be a humorous series of well-done "Forest Gumpage" not so much an example of PS skills raised to their (They're?) highest level.
I really could not care less how you all butcher the English language and as far as Mike's posts, blogs and photo descriptions go...well I read them all the time but I don't go for the grammar and I really doubt that it prevents many proper English persons from buying his images. He might miss a sale to the occasional pedant but that should not hurt his sales two (2) much.
Seriously,
Bob V

Bob (DUDE), is this becoming yet another Mike Savad thread. I have seen more of those threads than the next two highest combined.

Joseph C Hinson

They would have been funnier if instead of posting every single one he's ever done, he picked out the best and posted those. Also, too much Beyonce and Jay Z. Most people these days don't understand the less-is-more philosophy.

Bob VonDrachek

Dude you misspelled Savad...this is the place to close.
Thx,
