Don't Know What To Charge.

I have someone who wants to use one of my pictures as a background for some social sites for an android app launch. I have no idea what to charge. They apparently have a very small budget. I thought they wanted it for nothing and just add my name but apparently they are willing to pay.

There are calculators for image licensing...do a search.

However...basically whatever you and your client are comfortable with.

You're welcome.

I hope it works out for both of you.

Theresa, you might want to set up your Pixels licensing option in your FAA account. You can set your own prices (as I do), or use whichever of the two preset pricing plans that look best to you. I notice the vast majority of Pixels licensing artists use the "Getty" prices so that might be a good place to start.

If you choose the royalty-free option your buyers can have a choice of sizes (resolutions) and prices so they can easily find the size and price combination that works best for them. If you want more control, you can sell full resolution downloads with rights managed licenses.

Thanks, James. I will have a look.
