Bamalam Art

New To Faa

Hi to everyone. Just wanted to introduce Bamalam Photography to the forum. I'm Cherie, and photography has always been my passion; capturing the world with my little Canon DSLR, and spending too many hours in Photoshop. My mother, Jean, is an artist who was forced to abandon her easel because of arthritis. She has recently rediscovered her passion through digital. Her work is created with a quite unique free hand method in a very basic Elements program (she is not technically minded and prefers her art program as simple as possible, needing only coloured pixels and a mouse to make her art).
We're not in any hurry to upload our work. When I've filled our free space I'll be upgrading and working on a website.
My work ranges from colourful florals to grainy black and white hinges, beach scenes and boats to still life. Mum's art will include her lovely little British bird studies and vibrant abstracts.
I'm trying to get the hang of keywords here, and, hopefully, by the time I've set up a diverse gallery of images, I will have mastered it!

Any advice or useful links would be really appreciated by a newby.

~Cherie~

Hi Cherie,

For my keywords I mostly just write some down looking at the image and then use keyword sites to get some variations on my keywords.

This is a site I often use for my stock image keywords: http://microstockgroup.com/tools/keyword.php

Hi Cherie
I agree with Jan.Look at your image and try describing it using just single words. Then go to the keywording sites to see what they have and use the best ones that apply to your image.
Don't forget to use words that are spelt differently like color and colour, and also different words that mean the same thing like sidewalk and pavement
