Children's Room Art... Theme Image Thread

These colorful slices are all taken from local playgrounds around town....I've also been experimenting with custom portraits and this playground theme and other beloved images for a specific child....this is about as "cutsy" as I can bear to get....

These were created for a clients child's room years ago. You can tell by the theme that they are time dated.

How may of you can not find the cow? lol

Just uploaded this work by my late mother today.

My latest illustration of ladybugs would look cute in a nursery.

Proud Carousel Horses in a stylized digital format.
In the early days of Carousels the Carousel was used as a training tool for jousting. As time progressed the methods used were for combat training as warriors weilded their swords at dummy enemies.

The practice later was taken up by commoners and soon Carousels began to spring up at fairs with wooden horses for the children. The early fair Carousel had no platform and hung from chains.

The early 20th century was the golden era for the Carousel with elaborate animals being beatifully carved and enjoyed by their riders.
