Pricing Headache!

New and trying to get to grips with the pricing here.
The problem is that, if I have no idea what FAA are going to add for different sizes then how can I know what the final mark up to customers will be?
As we're just starting out on here I'd like to start low and see how it goes, but I don't want to risk seriously undercutting (or ridiculously overpricing).
I've checked lots of other photographers work, but the prices range so much on some that that hasn't been helpful. And as I'm British I'm having to work with a currency converter too.

Could someone give me a rough idea of where to start, for example, on the sizes that would be available for prints of my fern, starting at 8x5 up to 40x26
I know that when I've sussed this out once, I'll be away and laughing - hopefully.

Just input the price YOU want to receive for each size. FAA will mark it up accordingly.

Best thing to do is have a look around at other people's work and prices - you can click the "see price details" below the cost to see the break down.

don't worry about their mark up. your not competing with box stores and every art price will be different. i start at $25 (my amount), and work my way up from there. you can charge lower if you want and as you sell, increase it. my prices may not sell your stuff and vice versa. its confusing at first but as you sell, people will usually buy certain sizes and you adjust from there. just make sure your card price is on the high side, or people will buy that and not the 5x8.

Thank you so much. It was staring me in the face Heather. Price breakdown - that's all I needed!
And that makes sense to price cards higher.

Cheers -

If you want to see the "base price" without your mark up, check your profile. Do this without logging on and you your will see the prices with your markup added in. You also get a small percentage of the sale as profit added to what you put in the blank for each size.
When I go to "art prints" on my profile, I see that the first 4 sizes are all $12.26 before markup is added. You can add a progressively higher markup to each size all the way up to "expensive" for large prints on a progressive curve (5,7,10,15, 25,50, etc). If you feel generous, you can give the cards away cheap.
