Page Sponsorship

The link sharing program for pixels.com says to post links on internet and then notify where. Only problem no notification link or information? Anyone no where or who to notify about link location?

Here is the link: http://www.soonerphoto.com/blog

Thanks in advance for any help...

first click sponsor this word (near the third line). in the boxes, they will give you code to place it on your site. after you copy it to your site and upload it (making sure it's there), take the link from that blog and place it in the last box of that window that gave you the code. and there you go.

Mike, so will the way I did it work, they really don't expect me to notify individually about each link???

Like Mike said - "take the link from that blog and place it in the last box of that window that gave you the code" .... go through all the steps.

That last bit is how you "notify" them of the link.

yes, every link has to be inputted so it knows you held up your side of the deal. each and every term - brick photo, brick canvas, etc each one of those lines have to be told to this site that you want to sponsor them, or they won't know. a bummer, but yeah. also note that when your not logged in, you will be one of many that will have that word. and you may not see yourself unless your logged in. if you are logged in and your word is on the third line, then you did it right.

Still not finding the place to submit links to the pages containing the pixels.com page links...the page I was working from was the splash page after logging in, and it was just a list of recommended links.

you had to get those links from some place right? its not just a copy of the url line. when you click - sponsor this, that box will be there its not on the splash page (which i totally forgot exists). do a search

http://fineartamerica.com/art/all/brick/all

on the 3rd line you'll see this:

Sponsor this page, and your artwork will be shown in the next row, below.

click that and follow the instructions and links they give.

oh and i should point out that while i gave you a FAA link, the sponsored word will work only on pixels and not fine art, those words would have to be done separately. which i find totally unfair. i know i have no plans on adding new links there as well. but that goes for all the variations of FAA. there's like a dozen or more of them.

D'oh!!! You mean the third line of images...LOL!!! Found it. Thanks for the assist, but I doubt that I will do many...one at a time would take entirely too long and then to repeat on FAA...Not!

Tried it...good idea...horrible implementation. Got one to work, but most likely will only use when targeting very specific audiences.

it's easy to do, the link has the supplied words. add each of those words and add all the links you want. then look for those words, sponsor the page and just keep adding your main link to that box.

the sponsor really won't help you sell much though, as there are many with those words and those that need those words, there will be few search results anyway. and if they click the link they end up on the search page anyway. the sponsor is how they get this place to rank so high - one way links. your better off advertising out and or placing links directly to your work on your blog. or people may buy other things from other people.

when the site had a few thousand the system probably worked ok. but when any one word is being competed with against 35,000 people, you'll never be seen.

btw...my pics probably limit competition for sponsorship on some keywords because I see things just a little different, and being from Oklahoma...

Hello

Go to the keyword you wish to sponsor, it must be one that is on your work and that has been up for over 24 hours

To do this just put the keyword in the image search

On the third row will be a sponsor link

If you click on that link, you'll see instructions explaining how you can sponsor the page and ensure that your images appear in the third row. It's very simple.

Just post a link to the artwork page somewhere on the internet... tell us where you posted it... and presto - you've sponsored the page!

Each time someone visits one of your sponsored pages, your images will appear in the third row at random with others who may have sponsored the same keyword (in addition to wherever they would have normally appeared without your sponsorship). It's a great way to ensure that your images are prominently displayed whenever someone searches for keywords that pertain specifically to your artwork.

You can sponsor as many pages as you like. There are millions to choose from. To get started, just do a search for your most important keywords, and when the search results appear, click on the link above the third row of images.

I actually have a tutorial here http://1stangel.co.uk/fineartamerica/2011/12/28/sponsoring-pages/
