Minor Complaint About Groups

I am the administrator (not that I want to be) of a group: "Abstract Photography or what is is not..."
I am no longer interested in being the administrator. I wrote a group email to the many members of this group. One nice lady expressed real interest in taking over this group...Weeks later the "staff" was giving us the runaround.

I am no longer interested in dealing with the staff over this minor problem that could be fixed in a minute with better buttons to press.
So my group (of which I quit) is still "active" altho I am not accepting any images.

I advised the nice lady who wanted to take over my group just to start another group dealing with" Abstractions"

To be honest, the reason I quit this "former" group of mine is that what many think are abstractions are not my idea of what I see as an abstraction, and I felt badly about not accepting their images or accepting images that I thought should not be included in a group of Abstractions.

Staff...
Please don't tell me to deal with you. I won't. My life is complicated enough without having to do cartwheels just to get a simple transfer done.

Okay, so what do you need, Robert?

Really Jeff! I ask myself the same thing.

I cannot understand why this particular problem has been brought to the attention of everybody. Isn't this the same as naming and shaming but in a blanket way? I'm bloody tired of people who are constantly just sulking and crying to get attention. I think it does not reflect well on everyone involved here any more than threads that are constantly two to three people badgering and belittling one another.

This is a total waste of opining... and should be privatized. Actually it would be better if closed. Or better yet, how about the "bugs" or "suggestions" threads that has been around forever?

robert administer the group with the direction you have in your mind if people submit images you feel are not abstract (enough) do not except them ,make it a great group where people go to see beautiful abstracts...
