Why Is Price Off In Threads?

I haven't gotten a clear answer on this and am hoping someone can help me out. Most of the images posted in threads show the correct starting price, except mine don't. The starting price is $28 so why does it show $27.44? When I am logged out and click on the image, it sure enough says $28 not $27.44 If I try to adjust the price, it throws off the $28. I'm at a loss....

Go behind the scenes and see what you've set your default price at. I'm willing to bet you have $xx.44
Delete the 44 cents.

And on your profile it will put a round number on the starting price. It looks prettier.

It's just an anomaly, not sure why it does that.

Thanks Heather for the replies, but that doesn't work. If I you click on the image you'll see the price at $28. If I take off the .44 cents, then the price doesn't show $28 :(

On the price sheet, that image starts at 27.79. What is your mark-up? If it's a round number, your retail price will show cents, since FAA's price is not a round number, ie; $28.

So I'm just SOL then. lol Thanks Jeffrey for the bad news ;)

Lois I don't know what you mean by price sheet. What I see is what Jeffrey sees per the screenshot

$20.44 - my price
$07.56 - FAA paper price
-----------------
$28.00 total

Louise is referring to your Adobe PDF sales sheet. After seeing the multiple ascending prices, I suspect there was a pricing increase and some parts of the website were not updated to reflect today's current price.

Notice how it went from $27.44 > $27.79 > $28?

Thanks again Jeffrey! Well that's not good... not good at all! Having prices that conflict in different places is bad business practice. :( And I can't do anything about it....

Jeffrey Campbell

It's purely speculative on my part, I cannot say with any certainty.

I understand Jeffrey. But the fact remains that there are 3 different prices on each of my prints. This really needs to be address and I'll contact support to have them look into again.

Don't know how you feel you're SOL since you set your own mark ups. Simply go to your image, click on edit this image and set the mark up you want.

POI,

There is a website refresh in the works, perhaps this will be corrected if it is defective coding.

Prints Of Italy

Jeffrey,

I certainly hope this can be corrected some how.

Lois,

This has to be in the code, which I cannot gain access to. If I change my price, the PDF and site price will reflect it. i.e. 3 different prices

EDIT: Well geesh now my listing in the OP says 27.79, not 27.44 :( Guess FAA is playing with the numbers today

I've reported it to Tech Support for you, POI, and it's being investigated.

First, you can not go by the thumbnail images on the page with your photo-those are rounded out examples. You have to go by the PDF sales sheet, which is located under the info on the right. Open that and it will give you the exact prices. And even then, you should go to the page as a buyer, in other words, log out then go see what the sales sheet says.

All your images have the same pricing for the same sizes. There are no differences image to image with identical sizes-I checked. And the linked image you have here may just be an anomaly that would not have anything to do with sales. Looks like you're actually ok across the board and reading way too much into the rounding of price points on the thumbnails.

Thanks Jeffrey! Did you notice my price in the OP went up to $27.79? No longer $27.44? Seems numbers are being worked by FAA ;)

Jeffrey Campbell

Yes, POI, I saw that, too. But, I did a page refresh here and it went back down to $27.44. -- it keeps changing :-)

And now it went back up... Maybe they are working things behind the scenes.

Well shucky darn LOL I'm going to give up on it and wait for tech to figure it out. Thanks so much for everything Jeffrey!!!

No worries, keep an eye on things and let me know. Tech will get it sorted.

Will do and you're the best! :)

Debbie Oppermann

My prices are all different as well - I am assuming, as I haven't touched them, that there was an increase by FAA?

Prints Of Italy

Yes Debbie, but that is not what my thread is referring to ;)

Got it:)

Mary Lee Dereske

For what it's worth, it's happening to my images as well.

Prints Of Italy

Mary Lee if you're experiencing prices 2 - 3 different prices on your thread image posts, PDF sheet and art page, I'd suggest you contact tech support :) I've had this issue since I signed up with FAA

Prints Of Italy

Well now there's another issue:

Art Prints

This says $28 on FAA and is correct when you click on the image > Prints. But on AW, all my images say $27 and when you click on an image $28. Then of course there's still the PDF sales sheet saying $27.79 :(

Abbie Shores

I am looking into this for you today

My prices are different also.
