Letters After A Comment

Hi all,
I'm really new to all of this and learning everyday. I hope this is the right place to post this question?
Ok, so please could someone tell me what the letters like F/V or F/A etc mean after a comment?
I had to re-upload all my images today and start again as I hadn't cropped them! What an idiot! But they're all done,re-keyworded as well. But I lost the likes and comments sadly when I uploaded the new cropped images that took the old ones place so I can't find the letters after the comments, but I'm pretty sure they were something like FV/ F/A ?

Sorry for the long message, hope I made sense.
Thanks all x
All the best Emma

F/A? That's a new one.:)

Hi Emma....your page looks wonderful.

Sorry you lost comments. There is a way to avoid that.

Click the image.
Click ...edit.
A page for editing appears.
Click. "Change Image"
An upload page appears,..fill in your Selection
Click SUBMIT
The images change, but the comments, etc, remain.

Welcome.

Hahaha thanks Jeffrey! I'm not going mad honest, they were abbreviated letters in capitals like F/A or F/L but sadly I can't tell you what they were due to my own error.

Hi Vivian,
Wow, thank you for your lovely compliment xx
Yes it was a stupid mistake that I believe I could've stopped if I'd edited rather than replaced the image.

I deleted the images & replaced the same images after I cropped them, as somebody pointed out to me that I had white borders around my images & FAA don't crop.
This worked but I lost the keywording, descriptions & the few likes/comments which meant more to me, such a shame.

I'll stick to what I've done now in fear of tramping on the images for good if I mess about too much, I'm not so technical! :)

I think I'll go with that one Mike Savad! :)

Hey... A thought just came to me, maybe it's where they're from.. like F/L Florida?? um... as I can't remember the exact letters this sounds like nonsense.
Just a thought....?

Crikey, thank you very much Tonji. Very kind.
I was just reading the other discussion about theft of work & linking or something & that's confused me a bit & sounds awfully worrying, so I think I'll have to sign off for now & go & watch Dexter on Netflix! It's 8pm here in the UK

Have a good day/night all x

F/A F/L..... (sorry, just kidding couldn't resist...!)

Hi Mike yes it Could be :) ps love your photos!! Wow!! X

Jan!! hi!!
You mean the images disappear that you've favourited too? Oh crikey what a mess eh? Haha! Sorry jan x
But it's all sorted hooray!
Ps there was an amazing tree artist at the exeter craft festival a week or so ago at the cathedral green! Being a tree lover like me you would've loved her work x I can't remember her name x she did black & white drawings in very fine detail!
Hope you're doing well & having a nice evening x

Hi Jeffrey
Of course yes!!! That makes sense now!!! F/L (favourite liked) not Florida!!! Haha!
Thank you x

Emma,

I was thinking, and perhaps F/A is Favourite/Added - in that they added it to their Favourites? I've never seen that acronym before.

To add: Call me silly, Emma, but I cannot keep up with all these Internet acronyms. Some people do not even try to converse anymore and simply speak in code.

LOL, ROFL, ROFLMAO, YMMV, SMH SMHL, YW, UR....and the list goes on and on.

Anyways, have fun!

* Michael, thank you for my oversight. :)

Hahaha!! Exactly Jeffrey!
I know I have trouble understanding some of them too x
But you know what I think that you're right & your logic is very clever!
Why didn't I think of that haha!
Well done Jeffrey I think you nailed it!
Makes perfect sense now!
So with that I'll... BRB & GTG!!

Not sure if anyone's already told you, but F/V is favorited/voted. (Voted is the same as liked, I believe. We used to have "voted" before it was changed to "liked" so some people still call it voted.)

Hi Peggy,
Yes, thank you for your response on a silly little thing that was niggling me I suppose. Favourited/liked (F/L) makes much more sense than Florida!! :)
