Low Key

Are photograph's done in Low Key supposed to be grainy? Art Prints


Or is it just a badly taken photo

can't see it close, magic green box is out of magic.....again.....

For this type of shot I would think grain is fine and maybe expected but I am noooo technical expert.

Noise tend to appear in dark areas that don't get enough light.

New concept for me, just on closer inspection it looked grainy. Wondered if it was my not so fine art. LOL

So reducing the noise would make it better, or is the effect acceptable.

I find that sometimes using low ket and high key, the diffusion will bring out grain that you would not see otherwise, or was not there to begin with. So I use it very sparingly. One thing to always do before using a low or high key is to make sure all noise and grain is as close to perfect as you can be. Any slight amount will be amplified by them.
