Climbing Cats, For Walls Or Rooftops

I was wondering does anyone have and wants to sell, or know where I can buy one of those Cats that were very popular in the 60s and 70s that you could put on the outside of you house on the wall or on the roof . They were made of Ceramic and originally made by the company below.

Camark Pottery
Founded in 1926, Camden Art Tile and Pottery Company was the third and last producer of art pottery in Arkansas. By the end of its first year, its name had changed to Camark to include both the city of Camden (Ouachita County) and the state of Arkansas. Camark Pottery eventually become one of Camden’s best-known industries and was known nationwide.

Thanking you in advance.

Conor,

Do you need a photo of one? I have a white one with green and black eyes. No markings on it, but on it's stomach, I can see where there was a small square label.

Not for sale, one of the few things I got from my grandmother,Nana, when she died. I was in Florida and all the other grand kids were up there in New Jersey, so things like silverware, dishes, oriental rugs, player piano, roll top desk, tools, were gone, by the time I got up there for the funeral................

I can take a photo of it, if that's all you need.........

Thanks Shane, but a little to expensive for me, I had one on my roof in Ireland but a storm blew it off a few years back and I am trying to replace it.
Thank you also Rich for the offer of the picture but I need a real one, I think you got the best deal.

Thanks again all.

Conor,

Here is another one that just went up for sale. Still expensive, but much lower than the last one I found for sale.

Whenever I'm looking for vintage items like that I usually go to ebay. My sister and I have managed to reacquire many of our childhood Christmas decorations that way. :-) You could also try some local antique/junk stores if you have some nearby.

Conor,

I did have it on a roof, looking out over the neighborhood, but had to take it down 10 years ago for a hurricane here in Florida and worried about putting it back up and losing it. It's in the family room, 8 feet away from me and helps watch the movies with me............
