Google Blogger Has Problems, Anyone Experiencing What I Am?

I am disappointed in Blogger and will be moving or adding Wordpress for blogging. I can't give to the public a particular blog post address, only the general blog address which will show the most recent blog. My 800 and 600 pixel images are regularly scraped (I feel I need a larger image so images can be seen) and there is a lot of chromatic errors in the images after a short period of time. My posts look terrible because of this.

A couple of years ago when I blogged on Wordpress it wasn't perfect but I didn't have the above problems. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, Suzanne,

I've blogged twice this week, with no problems. Actually, I've never had any serious problems with Blogger (been there 7 or 8 years).

Latest entry (a particular address) - http://art166.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-one-where-im-thinking-of-blue-but.html

Oh,Wendy! I love your BLUE Blog.....I'm in the same "phase?".....it's obsessive!

Otherwise....can't say, Suzanne ... hope your issues get resolved.

Thanks, Viv! :-)

Suzanne -- there are many WordPress friends here; many informative threads too, if you decide to go that direction.

Wendy,

Visiting your blog I understand now, the address looked similar to yours with the html at the end. When I used it it showed headings (inner workings) at the top that only the owner of the blog can see.

Apparently Blogger recognizes the blogger's computer address and visitors are not enabled to see what the blogger sees. When you use that same blog post address you see headings visitors can not because it recognizes your computer address?

I thought others could see the inner workings of the blog so I have avoided giving particular posts out just the general address.

Vivian,

Thank you!

Do you see the chromatic errors? What causes this? See the scraped images do they scrape yours?

I have no issues there either, and have blogged for a long time there.

Dan or anyone,

Can you go to my blog address above and take a look, possibly my computer software needs updating. It looks really messed up to me with almost no images showing normally.

Suzanne, I'm not seeing any obvious chromatic errors on your blog. All the pictures look beautiful and appear to be within normal ranges. For instance I compared the 'Curious Cat' on your blog to this FAA image -

and the images look identical. I couldn't find some of your more colorful blog images to compare, but I don't see anything unusual in them. Are you seeing these problems everywhere online, or just your blog? Have you checked your blog using a different browser and/or device?

P.S. I'll admit that I have no clue what a 'scraped image' is, so can't comment on that. I see some Google research homework in my near-future!

I did not see anything either.
