What Computer Do You Use For Editing?

Have you been using a laptop so far,for the images you have uploaded? I only trust my desktop monitor for accurate work. I know that there are better screens on laptops, but my HP 17" is nice, but I would never use it for most editing.......

I should've clarified - I have a calibrated external monitor connected to the laptop...I'm just looking to replace the laptop.

I use my 27" iMac for my work, but I also have a 15" MacBook Pro that I can use in a pinch (or my husband's old 20" iMac if I get really desperate). I never use a trackpad when using my laptop though, just a wireless mouse.

Lenovo consistently are rated in the top tier of laptop performance tests. My next laptop will be a Lenovo. I currently use a Dell Workstation, and plan on upgrading to Lenovo in the next fiscal year. I only rely on trackpads for occasional use, most of the time I switch between a mouse and a tablet for input devices.

I use a Dell desktop with a 24" calibrated monitor. It gives me very accurate image rendering.

But then I do street photography for the most part, so I don't have to do lots of post processing....

I use the one in my living room.

I was going to say the one upstairs. HP Envy desktop with art monitor, Windows 8. Not a fan of laptops. They over heat and usually have more problems. Rather have a dedicated space to work instead of moving around to different light sources.
