Fastest Photo To 500 Views - Themed Image Thread

This one was my fastest image to 500 and has more views than any of my other work:

From the comments I receive here and on other sites, people love the reflection and the stillness of the water as well as the timing to get both trains stopped on the bridge. It wasn't really timing that played the part here. Trains typically meet near about a mile from here to the right of the frame where the two tracks meet. The luck part of the trains aspect is that the train on the furthest bridge was longer than usual for it to cross the bridge while stopped and waiting for the train closest to me to get by.

I was surprised at how quickly this became popular, especially as I imagined it is not to every ones taste as it not a run of the mill st valentines image. It was put on the site in late Jan 2014. It did not reach the 5oo+ until march, and now it has almost 4000 views. I imagine the dark humour, and the romance of the characters does come across strongly. Never sold however.
It could be argued that the subjects are naked!

Hi Shelby.. This is a potentially controversial topic for an image thread. And I can sum that up with one tiny little word... BOTS..!

Most folks who have tied there accounts up with FB and Twitter etc get a phenomenal amount of visits from bots.. way outnumbering genuine visitors. I do not use any of these other social media sites and therefore have alot fewer views, but a much higher percentage of real visits.

I don't actually have any images with 500 views but i'm going to post one anyway..
This sculpture is the second "Most commented" sculpture on the entire FAA site, and for that reason I think I deserve a place in this thread :-)
It has attracted 400 views within 8wks but most of these are from real people.
I think it has attracted so many views and comments simply because it is ace :o) (or at least the sculpture itself is..not so sure about this attempt at poster art!)

This one reached five hundred views most quickly, and has sold well.

I have two images that surpassed 500 views quickly. I think this one reached 500 views over a shorter period of time.

Rose, go "behind the scenes", then to "statistic/visitors" and click on the downwards arrow next to the "visitors" tab.

This is my fastest image it has over 500 views and I've sold it many times outside FAA.

I have no idea why but this is close to 2000 views and grows everyday. It seems to have taken off after a sale of it a couple months ago. I wish I knew so that I can replicate the process! Also, I am not clear on the rules on the thread so I am doing a minimum of liking all on the thread. ..

This is my first to 500 views. It's a personal favourite so I guess I've promoted it more and a recent sale helped too.

This one has so many views because it's one of my favorites and I've promoted it more than the other photos. It was taken near my childhood home.

The visitor count went up quickly after I pinned it to one of my Pinterest Boards (via Artist Website). The image has 150 Repins up to now.

We gave this thread a few extras day due to the recent technical issues with images displaying properly.
