Flower Identification?

As I was uploading this image, I realized I have no clue what type of flower this is! I pathetically went with a flower from the rose family, although
I am just about 99.99% sure thats wrong. Any ideas?

It's a rose, just don't know what variety.

Parker, when it comes to flowers you can always ask your mom - safe bet she will know many of them (hint: women love flowers)

or you can check with your dad (he most likely often buys flowers for his mom or your mom)

Possible this one .. http://www.davidaustinroses.com/english/showrose.asp?showr=3510 if it was a climbing rose? There are tons of different colors and types of roses, yours is a beauty!

I doubt anyone will be searching for the scientific name of the rose unless you want to try licensing the image to a flower catalog.
