Uploading Images

I have been taking new photos due to poor resolution. So I take a photo with my iPhone and it's a 5 mb jpeg. I upload and it's in a landscape format.I upload it in portrait. How can I correct this?

You need to load it to your computer first, make sure the orientation is correct (you may also wish to do some other processing while you're at it) save it and then upload it from your computer.

If done that. When It loads sideways on the computer too. When I correct it the computer tells me it can't be saved

I don't use an iPhone but I suspect it may be the way you had the phone in the first place.Try taking the same picture in both landscape and then portrait and see how they both look

can you re-orientate in your phone and hit save? What program are you using to change the orientation on the computer? Even the basic windows photo editor or viewer lets me save it once I flip an image.

I tried windows photo gallery and QuickTime picture viewer. when I opened with Windows Photo gallery and turned clockwise. I tried to save but would not let me. Same when i tried with Quick Time.
