Is There A Way To Hide Images Temporarily From Publc View Without Deleting Them?

Yes, you can set up a private gallery that is password protected. edit the images and just move them to that "gallery". Then you can edit them and move them back later.

Thanks Melisse. Just a question. Is a 'private' gallery some sort of special gallery, or is it just an ordinarily gallery you call private, or whatever, with a password on it? Also, do you know whether:
1. If I delete a gallery, are the images in it also deleted from the general 'artwork' tab, and
2. If I put images in this private gallery, are the still viewable in the general artwork tab, because, if so, that defeats the purpose of keeping them from being viewed?

I have just seen that,when I remove an image from one gallery into the password protected gallery, it still leaves it showing in the general 'images' tab. That does not solve my problem at all. What I would like to know I whether I can hide images entirely, without deleting them.

You keep them in the gallery.

They are shown to you, yes. They are not shown to visitors.
