I doesn't seem fair to me Roy, but then again, how many movies did James Dean make and yet still has "Icon" status?... Yeah.. I'm with Martin...life's just not fair

I've asked a similar question last year, but I've never got any reasonable answer.

Well it is private site and owner can feature whoever he wants and how many times he wants. I ques it is a good start to be featured there, if you are here for a months and you have less than 25 images.

Not sure what you are referring too cause the one I am seeing are up to date? Even some from this month.

Weren't talking about being fair - nor even the fact that me isn't there - it just seems strange that a person with only 6 images put up five or so years ago gets feature status - when there are more active people - with more images. I gave up on "life being fair" ages ago - cause it's more like "life being a fare".

I do try, occasionally, try not to irritate the powers that be. and this is one of those questions that won't be answered - mostly cause they don't have to. It would be nice, however, to know how to play this game and win - occasionally.

Roy..I'm confused.. Are you referring to the "featured artists" at the very bottom of the homepage? the ones that are always local to the veiwer? If so.. there's another thread about this which doesn't really explain it, but gave me the impression this is an old feature of the site which seems to have been forgotten or overlooked..

Oh well, this is perhaps a "NEVER MIND" - when you click on HOME in the upper left corner and scroll down to the bottom it says "Featured Artists and Photographers" - They are all generally from my area - and I didn't pay attention the first time - it appears to be a random showing, if you click the refresh ( that little arrow in the address line ) it changes. why the heck would I want to see the local artists/photographers in my area - I suppose if I were a "collector" that might be provident - So - I close this thread - because it's become irrelevant.
