Visitors Unequal To Buyers?

What are the reasons that so many visitors from the USA and all over the world may visit your page of images, and none of them buy anything as inexpensive as a $5.00 greeting card? I can't be the only artist experiencing this phenomenon or questions this.

not everyone wants to buy things. just like when you go to a dept store and you look around and don't buy things. $5.00, plus shipping, which makes it a bit more. the ratio is often 10:1 in views to sales. many views are also bots, which don't buy. others might be thinking about it and need to come back and others just want to look.

jewish art is hard to find, so many might be stumbling in. however it could take months before google and others really know your here. it will take me an average of about 3months or way more to sell one piece.

Getting folks that buy art to look at your work is your "other" job besides creating it. You seem to live in the right place - it's a matter of getting the Jewish community to come look at it. That part of your artwork is so community specific - it's doubtful others looking at it do more than glance at it and move on.

Do you buy something from every web page you visit? Most of the visits are from bots and the rest are lookers. Some might come to the site even knowing what it is. Others are just searching for images to grab for their school report or presentation. Others are from other artists who have their own work to sell.

I have 186,553 views and "only" around 200 sales. It takes a lot of tire kickers to make a sale.
