Thanks, I loved watching that. I almost wish it were five minutes with a slightly longer pause at each painting. I was following the eyes and got a little dizzy. Such a beautiful idea, and you have to wonder -- how did he do that?!

Thanks for sharing!!

Sensational piece of work, brilliant and very beautiful to watch.

@Patricia there are so many marvels of how time lapsed is it done well, many ways, some overlays fading in and out or zoom in and out, and filming each position of the actual work, Somewhat at time lapsed but instead of speeding it up its slowed down.....in time lapse video you take a one frame say every hour, or every day then when the image is played back you can see an entire year passs say within a minute....I love the different angles the still photos where captured and to achieve this if the camera is on a track or semi circle, the image is taken by one or multiple cameras, its truly fascinating to see it done in real life. Another term I believe is maping the image.

Another unique way of doing something similar picture of a projection on a white mannequin head and you porject a still on that it and take a photo of that it longer has a flat surface but three dimension that is one way of describing it. With in the past couple of years TV commercials had been producing effects such as Bradfords video. Its so stunning to watch as you say its hypnotic to view.

This is also done which I suppose you have seen at the Academy Awards when they show a collection of stills of 100 movie actors, because of time they fast forward the video taken and and its over in less than 30 seconds or so. When I was on the set last year of the America Horror Story's I spoke to some of the photographers and they filled me in.

There is such a video if you look it up a mother photographer had taken a photo since birth to a teenager its sensational pretty much the same, a still photo and then it all spliced together video or stills....

Splicing multiple images together as still and taking a video of sorta of it.

Thanks Bradford

That's interesting, Michael. What gets me is how well these blend together, which I imagine must have taken some work. I was watching the eyes the whole time, and they almost look like one set of eyes, yet you know they are different. Fascinating.

I loved it, but why "The End". We are not going to stop creating female portraits, are we?

Another point of interest did you notice just about everyone portrait and the method and fashion was a three quarter view, in most all subject women portraits especially the eyes were down and away, look at all art history the majority are slightly down and the angle of the head.

This is why when you do take a three quarter view, you can walk to one side of the room to other stare at the portrait and it gives the illusion its following you. I have not seen the particular pose until recent I noticed it right away, a huge portraits of models a larger than life photo in a window, what the photographer did was had all the subjects slightly 3/4 view so as you see the photo approaching and you watch the photo the entire group seems to be turning and watching you as you look back, it was a fashion photo.

And most of the women beauty has a look of shy and timid, and if you notice in all portraits back then there faces were pale as they did not go out doors very frequent.

That is an excellent observation and may be the secret, they do appear that way,,,,,I had noticed that as wel alot of research went into that searching for the portraits with the 3/4 views and as I mentioned above if you notice for each portrait starts from left to center then right view. All my portraits I had ever painted were 3/4 view it was a challenge to align the eyes, the noise and chin, ,,,you would lightly sketch the lines for the eyes, the nose mouth and chin, in an oval, with the vertical and horizontal and vertical lines. to get the proper perspective and alignment of the entire face. a grid.
