Your Biggest Print Sale

So far mine is a greeting card, but I am sure others have had some pretty big ones!
I am curious, what has been your largest print sale?

48" ... though I'm about to sell a couple 6' panos to a friend this week, as well as a couple smaller ones.

Now, when you say biggest do you mean most expensive? Largest size? Largest single purchase?

48 inches with a bunch of framing on a few occasions for me.

Bradford Martin

Oh I read it wrong. My biggest image was 48" I sold a few. That's the biggest i can get out of my camera without stitching. I have a few that go larger but never sold at the largest sizes.

beyond that it would be the 60" prints.

JC, I'm sure he's talking about physical size, he says postcard is his largest sale.

I've sold nothing on FAA, a lot of stuff outside of FAA, the largest being a 24x36 metal print that I bought on FAA, and then sold at my workplace to a client. Congrats on the postcard sale!

Haha, thanks John! And yes, to clarify I am talking physical size.

Parker,

2 big ones! Both 4 feet x 6 feet! But I would rather sell many smaller ones than a few large ones.............

Rich

My biggest was 30x24.... Most have been in the 12 or 14 inch sizes! Here's to a run on big prints for everyone!

Six 30" x 21" metal prints of the same car to the same buyer (I assume they were given as gifts to his special automotive clients or club members). Alas, that's been the highlight of my FAA career, so far....

But I'm happy for and encouraged by the spectacular sales that many of you enjoy on a regular basis.

A couple of 48"s, a 40", a few 36"s...
Holding out for a 60"...

but 108"??? wow...way to go Mike!

30x40 metal print...congrats on the card sale

Deborah Smolinske

I sold a 48x32 (the largest my camera can make) of this

http://fineartamerica.com/featured/amphitheatre-at-epidaurus-2-deborah-smolinske.html

Took my overweight, old, out-of-shape self quite a lot of effort to get up there to take this shot. One good sale made it all worthwhile! ;-)

I've sold a few 40 x whatever and 36 x whatever.

Wow, congrats everyone! I love seeing the success of other artists and photographers here on FAA!

Interesting...I never looked at this 'statistic' before.

The biggest 'non-sale' size was wall size. An intern for an architectural firm contacted me about buying a wall sized mural then disappeared. They had contacted another FAA'er at another time to and did the same to them.

I sold a 2' x 2' once, a 38.75" x 15.13" panorama....those were the biggest sizes I sold...and lots of smaller stuff and cards.

Buyers tend to make the mistake of buying too small. They think they are saving money but are then disappointed when what they thought was big enough, looks tiny on the wall. I don't think anyone was ever disappointed by going one size LARGER than they thought.

44x84 ...

What is funny is that I was watching the World Cup game Germany vs. Argentina when I got a text notifying me of a print sale. I shrugged it off until after the game...

When I finally checked my phone, I could hardly believe it. Who has room for an 84 inch tall print???

Edward Fielding

Office buildings, lobbies, hotels...

Parker Cunningham

Man, it must be a pretty nice business to buy from FAA!

6 prints of my dirty socks all about 24x30 from one sale and the next in line was about 4 of my Christmas humor about 24x30's from 1 person, had a few others like that but would have to research it :)
