Are You Getting A Lot Of Views?

I was getting a lot of views since I started on FAA, but now the # just stop. I didn't know if it was a tech problem or people just aren't looking at my Portfolio. I have advertised my photos on Facebook, Twitter, and other websites. I have had a lot of comments and even sales on my other website. I know I need more keywords and more pictures. I'm stuck at the moment. I was just curious about the views. Thanks.

Mine are way down....On a good note, I am selling originals one after another.

i haven't paid attention much, it usually averages around 1600 a day. it's slower now though due to vacations and such. to get views you have to be constantly active. it really depends what words you use to get people over here on twitter and facebook. you had more views because you were always posting to the forum. the more images you have the more views you'll get.

I get some...not really a lot....many are bots. I don't do marketing like I should either.

I see you're a "newbie". Welcome! Feel free to also add your artwork and your 'story' in our "Newbies" thread here: http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=1994867

My view count has barely moved all day, even though I've had lots of responses elsewhere... Maybe it is a tech issue of some sort...

"Summer doldrums" - it's an investing term that refers to July/August when everyone is too busy having summer fun to bother with investing. A lot of marketing writers and analysts say that they have an effect on online marketing as well. My traffic is down across the board on all the sites where I market.

Thank you Daniel! This makes sense.

Summer doldrums for me refers to that part of the year that starts sometime in May and ends, hopefully, in September where, to quote a song, "it's a hot one, like seven inches from the midday sun." Not much fun, too hot for that. My views have picked up though, many from real people. The bots were busy this weekend though.

Just the usual bot visits, and views from site members. Not really marketing either. It's summer folks....get outside and get some sun before winter get here! :)

For me its just a huge bot infestation.

The wheels on the bots go round and round...

Last week I broke the 4000+ visits barrier per week, which is not that much I suspect in the scheme of things.

Views by people and bots are both up significantly for me going on two months, no way to know why.
