Thank you Joseph for your commentary. It was a bummer, but at least my mug is on the website video clip, and it starts and ends with me. He also zoomed
in on me when I was painting. Which was cool. What actually happened: We all had to wait at least an hour & then the team came in suddenly because
one of the news stories got axed, so it was like a popup. The camera was away from me when the que was given to introduce ourselves and I was first. lol
Also, the tech who put my microphone on had problems strapping it on so it may not even have been on. The space was so small too. I am just grateful
for the opportunity. I actually got a phone call 2 days before the Let Them Eat Art Event. The coordinator said some artists would not participate in the broadcast because it
would interfere with them preparing for the event which was later that day. I saw it as a chance for good exposure. We all did the best we could on such a tight schedule & cramped space. You are right. It would have been ideal if the reporter had addressed it on the air. That is what they should have done. I don't think there was any time for that. =) Things don't always go as
planned. Being an artist is one of the most challenging things in the world. So much is expected of us & then there is a lot of oversight also. As you know having been a camera guy, being one is not easy either. You're only human. ;)
