Speaking Of Practice...

It was brought up in another thread - people uploading here even if they were just starting out in their chosen artistic medium - most commenting that if you have an eye and passion for it (things that can't necessarily be taught), the technical skill can and will come with time..

Great post..Thanks for sharing Heather. Amazing work.. but some of the early attempts have a charm of their own.
It brought to mind one of my favourite sketch artists on faa and local boy to me Brian Scott, who by these standards, seems to have been practicing for 100 years or so..

Very cool! I left all my old photographs up on Flickr so I could see how I progressed and it's interesting to look back sometimes when I'm feeling brave. I agree with Barry...sometimes our early work has a certain charm though.
