Vonnie, are you inviting people here to critique your images?

"What do you think?" is slightly vague and open to interpretation. Can you please elaborate for everyone what you're asking for?

Thanks.

Capitol Building shot is noisy and not very sharp on the dome, which is where you would want it to be sharp. On some of these, you may want to size down. I know we all want to sell the largest sizes we can and I get frustrated at times when my lens can't keep up with my camera. But I also know to work with it in post. Sometimes the biggest size I can realistically put up is 3072 pixels wide.

i guess you want the critique, anyway

this is totally blurry. it's also very busy with too many cars, people and such, taken in the middle of the day, it's not all that interesting. based on clarity, its doubtful this will print.

there is too much going on in here, that tree blocks the shot. while the rainbow is nice, it doesn't add to the story. if you see a rainbow, run up past the trees to get it instead. nothing kills a shot faster than clutter that doesn't fit into the story. again the boat isn't sharp. make sure your not focusing on the sky, focus on the boat, or maybe there's something wrong with the camera. watch foreground clutter, like that post and bush.

this isn't bad, but the contrast is weak. there is too much foreground, this one is actually in focus. but the crop is too large. the background isn't all that compelling, it would look better not only closer, but in color, so we can see that orange flame on the back.

either have people or don't have people. cutting them off at the waist looks odd. the image looks crooked. but overall, there isn't anything in the scene that's interesting. the horizon should be straight. if this were a sunset, this would be ok, the trees would frame the sun. but as it stands its a snapshot.

Photography Prints
this has nice color, but isn't all that interesting. if you could couple this color with maybe the last shot, then maybe. but it's just clouds. there is a lot of noise in this, probably too much to print. i can't say if the clouds are soft or not, because they are clouds. a sunset is rarely interesting on it's own, usually you need context.

i will try the composition thing :

1st
the blue up there is distracting (from your windowshield?) , the car infront is more an eyecatcher than the capitol itself, tho its small in size it does cover the capitol, those road paintings lead to the car, better without the car infront

2nd
a sub, a palm, something from the right side (again part of a palm), something in the lower left poking into the scenary (dont know what it is) oh and there in the back a rainbow, rainbows need "space" to "breath", give em all the place you have, somehow too chaotic, the palm in the middle is too dominant, the sub is fighting dominance with the palm, and the rainbow is loosing this battle between those two

3rd
a good composition, aircrafts are more photogenic from the side or the front, the rear aint their sweetest side

4th
the horizon is falling to the right side, this is a hard one, bc the front shore is curved and giving the image a balance to the falling horizon, the pic itself would fall tho to the right if horizon was even bc of the palms bending too much, a pat position

5th
perfect!

i hope you arent mad at me :)

Thank you Joseph, Stanislav and Mike. No, I'm not mad at you Stanislav. I'm still learning.
