Creating A True Gallery With Different Artists

We are a not for profit corporation that has opened an online gallery as a fundraiser. We have about 30 artists that want to contribute their work to this Gallery. We want to create a separate "Gallery" page for each artist, complete with bio. Is this possible on FAA? It is possible on smugmug but I can't seem to determine if it's possible here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Toby, I think what you can do is set the account up under the corporation, set up separate galleries for each artist. At upload change the name of the artist to reflect the work. When you create a gallery there is space for a description, this is where I would put the artists bio, the gallery logo could be a picture of the artist. Any monies earned would go to the account owner.

If you want a standout bio for each artist like the bio that is in the left column of your FAA account, no, it cannot be done. Bios in description area may not be seen.

Using the current FAA capabilities, about the best workaround I can think of is this:

In the bio area on the left, have a title that says Artist Biographies and then a link to a FAA blog page.

This FAA blog page would serve as a table of contents with names and links to individual artists and their bios. These individual bio pages would each be a FAA blog.

Edit: or alternatively, in the left bio column you can list the artists there and the links to the FAA blog articles about each one. In essence, the bio area to the left would be a table of contests. You can embed html links there.

Thank you Pamela & Dan! I think I figured out that I have to upload all images to the page, but then, can create individual galleries for each artist. The idea of linking to a Blog page, Dan, for more extensive bios is great, but would I need to create a bio page/blog for each artist? Their bios are about a paragraph long. I'm just learning my way around all of this and am somewhat overwhelmed.

Toby, yes, lots to learn and many nuances to discover.

If you're doing 30 artists, it would probably be best any way to limit it to a paragraph. Three or four paragraphs about 30 artists would be overwhelming.
