"highlightly" Ad Program Hung Up On Faa Site

Does anyone know why this annoying "highlightly ads" popup keeps coming up on this site? I have tried all ways to remove it from conventional to unusual, but to no avail. Even an expert tried to remove it. Has anyone else seen it or know about it and/or how to get rid of it? Thanks!

We do not and never have added links and popups to your pages

This is a new addon on your browser so you need to go through them and look specifically for shopping addons

Also check your computer for adware and malware

you have malware in your system, this site has no pop ups or ads. get a malware checker like malware bytes, or avast virus checker, it will remove that, it's on your side.

You can uninstall this yourself. You may need to take additional steps like resetting your browser. I just did this for my roomers computer the other day. It was a different but similar program that came in with a flash player update. Basically you uninstall Highlightly from you programs. Check to see also if you got any other unwanted software at the same time. There are tutorials for it and even the Highlightly site tells you what it is and why they do it.

Tried ALL this. Nothing worked so far. Will continue to thank all and get rid of this adware.

If you are using windows, you may be able to run a system state restore to a point before you started getting these ads. Also, check your browser settings for any unusual addons, sometimes you can simply disable the addon that's causing this.

These are normally not malware.

This is normally attached to a free programme you have downloaded and is then added to your browser

If you go into your addons it should just show there and a simple dsable and remove gets rid of it

However highlightly is ADWARE (malware) and a rootkit which means it burrows into your computer and as you can see hijacks the browser

It is indeed bundled into free programmes downloaded from the web

When installing softare ALWAYS use custom setup and untick any addons

The link below take you direct to download the removal programme

I finally got rid it. However. it gave my computer a bad virus. Beware. I had to pay to get rid of the virus. :(
