Ps And Merging Layers ??

Be a novice with PS and not even having it yet.

Will I be able to take 6 or 8 scanned images and merge layers to make a pano.

Looks like that is going to be my last resort.

The Arcsoft pano software im using is NO GOOD. A blind person could stitch better than this software.

Im using a Mcc 10.7.5 will PS6 work or do I need a older version?

Photoshop has a stitching function that matches and merges images into a pano.

as long as the images are flipped to how they should be, the align and blend tools will do a good job merging it together. try to keep everything straight or you'll have to fill in the corners.

The photomerge in photoshop will let you tile them anyway you want.

just do some googling for video tutorials photoshop photomerge

PS6 is fine. And the option is under File/Automate/photomerge

I find PS far inferior to Hugin. PS quite often simply can't do the alignments. On the downside, Hugin is more difficult to use but a huge positive is that it is free (I don't know if it works on a Mac or not).
